What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

We ask that you dress comfortably in semi formal, cocktail attire and in layers as it may be a bit chilly in October.

Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be taking place at Lilac Acres. There is a separate ceremony barn and reception hall on the property within feet of each other-no extra travel needed!

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the wedding party will be taking pictures nearby for about an hour. During this hour guests will head down to the reception hall for cocktails and light hor d'oeures before dinner is served.

What time should I arrive at the venue?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin at 3:30pm promptly, we ask that guests arrive no later than 3:15pm to ensure a smooth transition and proper daylight for photos.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Although we absolutely love your little ones, with the exception of the children in the wedding party, our wedding will be an adults only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time so you can celebrate with us!

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail anything back to you?

Answer

To ensure we can meet our deadlines for headcount we ask you RSVP via Zola (this website, under the RSVP tab) no later than September 20th, 2026. You do not need to mail anything back to us, this website RSVP serves as your confirmation you will/will not be attending.

Are the ceremony and reception space wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes! Lilac Acres is wheelchair accessible. The property is equipped with ramps, accessible parking and restrooms ensuring a smooth experience for our guests with mobility needs.

Where are you registered at?

Answer

Although your presence is more than enough of a gift for us, if you would like to see our registries we are registered at Crate & Barrel, Target and Amazon. We appreciate you!

What should I expect the weather to be like?

Answer

Wisconsin weather can be tricky to predict in October. Both the ceremony barn and reception hall are temperature controlled, we are equipped for both warm and colder temperatures. Our ceremony will be indoors, but we suggest wearing layers.

Are there any room blocks at nearby hotels?

Answer

Yes, we have arranged room blocks under "Kral/Kirchmeier Wedding" at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites in New Berlin see "travel" tab for full address. Rooms range from $149-$200 per night and is located about 15 minutes from the venue. Rooms must be reserved before September 2026.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

We will have 4 hours of open bar starting during the cocktail hour at 4:00pm, cash bar will follow after 8:00pm until last call at 11:00pm
