We’re getting married!

Maggie was a Ninja. Daryl was Zorro. It was a mutual friend's Halloween party in the middle of Manhattan. And as the clock tocked ever closer to 2am, while ordering a drink at the bar with his friend dressed as The Warriors, Mr. Doeschner saw an opening he had trained all his life to fully maneuver into... Ms. Nye's friend Wonder Woman was chatting up "The Bear Jew" from Inglourious Basterds and Maggie couldn't have looked less interested. Daryl swooped in and said something to the effect of "Would it be completely shameless of me if I hit on you while your friend is getting hit on?" Amused, Maggie engaged Zorro and the two would go on to deeply talk and imbibe together until the venue shut down. Daryl's costume had no pockets, so he did not bring his phone, and therefore could not ask Maggie for her number. But, before requesting her android to enter his digits into it, he removed his mask to reveal his true identity in the hope his advance would not be rejected (because he could tell this Ninja was still semi-skeptical of his period-authentic mustache). Thankfully, Maggie was quite pleased with Daryl's face, and the two exited the building hand in hand. That night, they parted ways for pizza, but would reunite a week later for their first date at a Kishi Bashi concert in Williamsburg, Brooklyn (which happened to be on daylight savings allowing them to enjoy each other's company an extra hour past closing time). Daryl saw Maggie + her two cats Giuseppe & Noodle for sixteen months in NYC until Daryl honored his promise to return with Mags from where she came, also fulfilling a lifelong aspiration of his own. After two and a half years of happily living in sunny Santa Monica, Daryl bent the knee over the sea in front of Anacapa Island surprising Maggie with a ring he designed and a proposal to be together forever. She said "Of course!" and ever since the couple has been on Cloud Nine. And now, we couldn't be more elated & touched that you are here, reading this, and are going to be joining us as we wed :)
