After about a week of texting back and fourth, Cody got a free weekend off work to meet Maggie at the local DQ for a lunch date. Cody ordered a plain hotdog and Maggie stated "she had a lot of enemies in town and needed to sit so she could see the door." After both their nerves settled down, conversation got better and Maggie knew she was smitten with a bearded guy that lived less than 300 yards from her parents. We strongly believe God and fate put us together at the perfect time. We went on our second date three days later...

The farm was bought in 1964 by Patty’s parents, Glenville and Betty. Since then, three of Glenville’s daughters have been married on the property, Susan, Patty and Judy. Maggie will be the fourth to be married here. The reception will be held in the barn that Maggie’s Dad built in 2008 for his cattle and Maggie and Megan’s show livestock. While she has her work clothes on now, we can’t wait for you all to see her all dolled up for the big day! This barn encompasses so many memories for Maggie, and with so many couples getting married in barns today, she knew this would be a perfect place for her to marry the man of her dreams. The ceremony will be held in what’s referred to on the farm as “the ball diamond.” Prior to Glenville and Betty owning the farm, Confidence Elementary school had a ball field on the farm in the 1950’s. It’s rumored that you couldn’t even see home plate from right field. The perfect, secluded place to get married with so many of our loved ones watching from Heaven.
