Clinton
This charming little town has so much to offer! Clinton is known for its iconic Red Mill, picturesque falls, and the Hunterdon Art Museum, all located in the heart of downtown! Clinton’s Main Street is just a quick 5-minute drive from the TownePlace Suites hotel. While you're in town, be sure to check out local favorites like Kilhaney’s Pickles, Jimmy's Coffee Shop, Fourchette (a cheese and home shop), Made to Order Jewelry, Charlie’s Bootery, and Heartstrings. You’ll also find cozy coffee shops, art galleries, scenic parks, walking trails, and more to explore!
Haunted Red Mill
After the Welcome Gathering at The Clinton House, feel free to stop by the Haunted Mill* for a fun and spooky staple event in the Town of Clinton! This is in walking distance to the restaurant. *Purchase tickets in advance
Round Valley Recreation Area
Another great local spot for an easy hike with views of the water! There are a ton of trails to try and most are pretty simple to navigate. Enjoy!
Black Shed
We love this cute garden center destination in Stockton, NJ! Grab a cup of coffee, tea, or a lovely seasonal beverage and wander the shop and gardens. This is a must visit!
Stockton Market
Grab lunch, a snack, or a cup of coffee and peruse the cute shopping area!
Milford Bluffs
It's tough to find, but your GPS will guide you to this simple and beautiful hike in Milford, NJ. Enjoy beautiful view of the Delaware River at the top!
Frenchtown
One of the most popular local towns to wander through, Maggie lived here when she and Chris first met. Some favorite spots are Frenchtown Cafe (for breakfast or lunch), The National Hotel, Bamboo House Restaurant, Gather Flower Shop, Wild Fern Brewing, Black Swan Provisions, The Frenchtown Bookshop, Euphoria Studio, Shop, & Salon, and of course the canal path!
New Hope & Lambertville
While the bridge itself is of course, great, both towns offer amazing shops and restaurants to explore. We love Under the Moon, Meta Cafe, Logan Inn (our first date spot!), and The Dubliner. Be sure to wander through the book shops and boutiques in both towns!
