Is this wedding in the middle of nowhere?

Answer

Yes, in the best possible way! Charlie’s Uncle Dana and Aunt Suzy have a beautiful farm, with cows, garden, chickens, and creek running through it. This place is very special to us and we are so happy to celebrate our union here. That being said, it is an outdoor wedding, so be prepared for weather of all kinds, porta potties, and uneven walking surfaces.

Where do I sleep?

Answer

We will be staying in our van on the property and you could bring a camper van to stay over, or brave a tent. There are Airbnb’s and VRBOs in surrounding areas but book soon as this is a small rural area.

What is the weather like in Avon in June?

Answer

Watch the weather forecast as you plan for your trip! It can be really hot and really cold this time of year so bring layers with you. We will be outside if all goes according to plan.

What’s the attire?

Outdoorsy dressup (country chic) We recommend bringing layers, shoes for walking on uneven surfaces, and what makes you feel happy!

How early can I arrive?

Answer

You are welcome to come and soak your feet in the creek and enjoy being outside Saturday morning, but we will be officially ready with yard games, art activities, iced tea, lemonade, and some light refreshments starting around 2pm for those who want to meet and greet. But, the ceremony starts at 4pm so please be in your seats by 3:45pm!

Could I drive up to the wedding and back to SLC in one day?

Answer

You could for sure if you don’t mind about 4 hours of driving round trip in one day! That’s why we wanted to plan some fun earlier in the day to make it worth your while!
