Maggie and Chandler met at the University of Arizona through mutual friends during their sophomore year. What started as casually crossing paths soon turned into shared study sessions, themed parties, wine nights with friends, and the gradual merging of their friend groups. By the time senior year rolled around, they had become a constant in each other's lives - even if it took them (Chandler) a little longer than everyone else to realize it. After spending winter break texting and FaceTiming almost every day, they both found themselves looking for ways to see each other sooner. Before heading back to Tucson for their final semester, Maggie invited Chandler to visit her family in Phoenix - a trip that ultimately marked the beginning of their relationship. Just a few months later, COVID turned everyone's plans upside down. Instead of a traditional end to college, Maggie and Chandler convinced many of their friends to stay in Tucson and make the most of their Senior year. Their friend group filled the uncertain times with the best memories - Catan game nights, pool days, themed parties, homemade re-creations of their favorite bars, and of course a makeshift Airbnb graduation. When graduation arrived, they faced another challenge: starting their adult lives nearly 1,500 miles apart. For the next three years, Maggie and Chandler navigated long-distance between Arizona, Los Angeles, and Seattle. While the miles weren't always easy, those years shaped their relationship in many ways. Through monthly visits, countless flights, and daily FaceTimes, they learned how to support each other's dreams while building a future together. Looking back, it's a chapter they're especially grateful for - it taught them resilience, strengthened their partnership, and proved they could handle whatever came next. In 2023, they finally closed the distance and moved to the Bay Area, where neither of them knew a single person. Together, they built a home, found an incredible community of friends, and learned what it meant to create a life from scratch. Some of their favorite memories were made during those years of exploring the Bay, becoming locals at their favorite restaurants, and building a community that quickly made California feel like home. In September 2025, Chandler proposed in Napa, CA surrounded by family and friends. Today, they're happily settled in San Diego and can't wait to celebrate the next chapter of their story with all of the people who have been part of it along the way.
