We're Getting Married!

Chapter 1 - SJB We met early freshman year of High School but don't actually remember much about the moment. We just remember our now mutual friend introducing us because we'd relate on both having cousins at the school. (Shoutout to our Matron of Honor!) We became quick friends. Our group was almost always together if we did anything outside of school. Chapter 2 - More Than Friends? Sophomore year, I (Brendon) tried to see if we could maybe be more than friends but Maggie, oblivious to the previous flirting apparently, didn't want to "ruin the friendship". So we stayed close friends all through the remainder of High School. Our parents became familiar with each other during Prom pictures at Maggie's house. Chapter 3 - College in New York We both went to colleges in or around NYC. We stayed in pretty close contact - visiting each other’s campuses, LOTS of trips to the mall, movies & go-carting together - just us 2, just as good friends! By this point though, everyone thought we were already secretly together or headed in that direction. Chapter 4 - More Than Friends Part II Late into college, Brendon decided to try us dating again but this time... I (Maggie) allowed myself to truly consider him as something more. I realized that we already had a trust that was unmatched but more importantly, I trusted him with my heart. We were both convinced that our foundation was so solid that neither of us would do anything to purposefully hurt the other...so the rest is history! Chapter 5 - Meant To Be! We started dating and became an official couple in 2014. Fast forward to Nov. 2019 when we got our 1st apartment together in Queens, NY! We were engaged by August 29th, 2020 - Brendon planned a full day of all our favorite activities, created a comic book about our love story and popped the question at our favorite view in Long Island City, overlooking the Manhattan skyline. He also planned a small gathering for the next day to celebrate with close family & friends! It was perfect! - We then moved to our 2nd apartment on Long Island in 2021. Now, we are counting down to our forever day this September, 2022!! We're so excited to share and celebrate our journey with you!
