Maggie and Anthony met in August 2013 on Ludlow Street, in the lower east side of Manhattan...at a little place ironically called "No Fun". Maggie was persuaded to go out that night by her friends after a day of running errands, and, after a quick stop at a shop in Chelsea to buy a top and pair of jeans in place of the workout clothes she was wearing (always up for an excuse to buy a new outfit- why go all the way home? Oh the mind of a 23 year old...) a regular Saturday turned into a pretty extraordinary one. Anthony was in the city for the weekend away from his home at the time in charming Sea Cliff, Long Island. The college friends with whom he was staying coalesced him out to the lower east side bar scene (not a very "Anthony" place to be... where's all the decent beer?) and as fate would have it, he and Maggie ended up at the same place at the same time. The two struck up a conversation, and he invited Maggie to grab a bite with him at the the infamous 'Halal Guys' food stand before she headed home for the night. Their first date was planned for the following Friday, and in February 2018 Anthony proposed at a snowy cabin in Vermont. Maggie and Anthony live in Brooklyn, NY with their 40 - and counting - plants. They enjoy good coffee, cucumber seltzers, and short walks to the farmer's market. We can't wait to celebrate with you - thank you for being part of this special time in our lives! -Maggie and Anthony
