We have a hotel block at the hotel closest to the park (see our "Travel" page for details!). Additionally, Wichita is only a 10-20 minute drive from the venue and has many hotel options. There are also many AirBnBs and other rental options in the area. We recommend staying somewhere in the Goddard and Wichita area.
Our dress code is "dressy casual!" For example: sundresses, lightweight separates, light dress shirt with khakis or other lightweight slacks; jackets and ties are optional. Wear comfortable shoes for the outdoor ceremony and after-hours park time. Weather in Kansas can be unpredictable, so make sure to check the weather when you are packing and deciding what to wear!
On the day of the wedding, all of our guests receive admission to the park during normal park hours, 8am - 4pm. Anyone who wishes to use this admission will go to the park and tell the staff that you are with the Anderson-Kilday wedding. Staff will check you in, inform you how to access the included food and drink, and give each guest a pass to participate in a number of animal feedings around the park. Please enjoy the park on whatever timeline works for you! Whether you want to be there from open to close, only visit for a couple hours, or decide to check-in closer to the ceremony start time (4pm), there is no wrong way to visit the park. Please note that there are only public restrooms available to change in, so we recommend planning to either return to your lodging to change or to come ready for the ceremony. Victor and Maggie will be in the park early in the hopes to see as many of you as possible before they get ready, take pictures, and prepare for the ceremony.
The park offers food and drink for breakfast and lunch, as well as snacks that are grab-and-go. However, outside food and drink is also allowed if the park options do not meet your needs. Please visit this link to see the options available: https://twpark.com/hours-info/#dining
