FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We hope to get to see everyone on our special day. We ask that guests RSVP by August 2nd. This will give us, as well as our vendors, plenty of time for planning.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We are welcoming those with children to bring them along! Sophie, Abby, Drew and Declan will be so excited to dance and hang out with all of the kids who are able to come! We will have child approved options for food and drinks. Check out the "Things To Do" section to see some family friendly places to visit! We do ask that only children who are invited attend. If you chose to leave the kiddos home, no worries at all!

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Check out the "Travel" section to see which hotel we chose to block rooms. However, the Fargo/Moorhead area has plenty of lodging options for those who wish to utilize them!

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

We have been working with our caterer to provide excellent food for all of our guests! As of now, we will have gluten free, dairy free, and vegetarian options by default. If you have any other allergies, please let us know ASAP so we can communicate with the caterer.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Dress code would be closer to business casual. September in Fargo/Moorhead can be a bit unpredictable. We won't be welcoming winter at that point but it might be cool and breezy, or hot and humid. Our best recommendation would be to bring something to toss on your shoulders, just in case. The venue will mostly be indoors, but there is an outdoor space where we will have some yard games like cornhole!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We are so happy that you found some who makes you as happy as we are! While we do wish you a long and happy relationship, we are only asking those who are given a plus one option to bring a guest, if they choose.

Question

I am planning on flying in. Where should I fly into/out of?

Answer

There are a lot of local and municipal airports in and around Fargo. Its important to note that most of these are utilized for the farmers out here. The Fargo/Moorhead area uses Hector International Airport (FAR), which is minutes away from Fargo. Another option could be Minneapolis/St. Paul (MSP), but keep in mind this is about 3.5 hours away. Flights will be a lot cheaper going through MSP, but you will have to rent a car to get to Fargo. We highly recommend avoiding flying into Grand Forks International Airport. While it is closer to Fargo than MSP, there are very limited and expensive flights that go through there.

Question

Will there be transportation from the airport to the hotel or venue?

Answer

Check back in as we get a little closer to the wedding. We may be able to secure some transportation from Hector International Airport (FAR) in Fargo. In a pinch, Uber and Lyft are available in Fargo, as well as local cab companies. Unfortunately, we will not be able to provide transportation from Minneapolis/St. Paul (MSP). In regards to travel to and from the venue on our wedding day, we will only be able to provide transportation for guests staying at the Courtyard by Marriott in Moorhead.

Question

I am planning to stay the whole weekend. What things are there to do out there?

Answer

We are so happy that you're planning to stay the whole weekend! There is quite a bit of things to do for entertainment in the Fargo/Moorhead area. Check out the "Things To Do" section to see some of our favorite selections!
