FAQs

Question

How should I get to the wedding?

Answer

One of our favorite things about downtown Annapolis is how walkable it is! We encourage you to either walk (if able) or take advantage of ride shares (Uber/Lyfts), as parking is one of our LEAST favorite things about downtown Annapolis and we don't want your day with us to be stressful. :) If you choose to drive, please give yourself ample time to find parking.

Question

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

Semi-formal! We are so excited to celebrate with our favorite people and cannot wait to see you dressed up. (Just no white, please!(: )

Question

What shoes should I wear? Since the wedding's outside, will there be any terrain to consider?

Answer

The outdoor areas are entirely on pavement, so no need to worry about elements affecting your shoe choice!

Question

Are children included in your plans?

Answer

Although we adore your children, we have decided to make our big day an adults-only event. We hope you have a fun parents night out in our honor!

Question

Can I take photos?

Answer

We ask that our Ceremony is camera and cell phone free, as we want our favorite people in the moment during our special day. We have an amazing professional photographer, and promise we will share the photos in the weeks following!

Question

Since Maggie's from Pittsburgh, will there be a cookie table? What is a cookie table?!

Answer

Yes! We are so excited to share the Pittsburgh cookie table tradition with our friends and family, which is essentially a cookie/dessert potluck found at many Pittsburgh weddings. Contributing is TOTALLY OPTIONAL! We just ask that the table stays nut free, as two of the beloved Bridesmaids have nut allergies. If you’d like to participate, please contact Donna Wyckoff or Maggie.

Question

Most importantly: is Father of the Bride Joe DJing?

Answer

We insisted he celebrate the day, so father of the bride is going to sit this one out (though he'll probably find his way behind the DJ booth somehow).

For all the days along the way
