Ricky and I have been friends for about 10 years now. We met on New Year’s Eve in 2014, he was a junior and I was a sophomore in high school. Over the years we grew closer and I started to see him around more. In the fall of 2019 I told him how I was starting to develop feelings for him and he said he wanted to take me out! Our first date was the movie Joker at NCG and on our second date a week later he asked to be his girlfriend. We both knew how strongly we felt about each other. He quickly became apart of my everyday life: squeezing time in to see me between working two full time jobs. In December he got an apartment and we alternated spending nights there and at my families house. In November of 2020 we moved into our first apartment together. Three years later on a trip to Europe he proposed while we were visiting at the Louvre art museum in Paris. I was surprised, but said yes very quickly! It’s safe to say he is my best friend and I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with the perfect partner for me!
