Answer

To help with planning, if you plan to stay at the Airbnb, please RSVP by June 15th so we can get a better idea of the headcount. Please also RSVP to the events as soon as possible using the RSVP tab on this website.

Question

Getting Around St. Thomas

Answer

A quick note on transportation in St. Thomas. There is no Uber or Lyft available, so taxis are the primary way to get around. We will have transportation arranged for wedding events, and we may also be renting a few cars for group use. We will share more details as plans are finalized. Taxis Taxis are widely available and can be found at hotels, cruise docks, and throughout Charlotte Amalie. Fares are not metered, so it is best to confirm the price before getting in. Most guests can expect to pay between $8 and $40 per person round trip, depending on distance. Many taxis are safari style trucks or large vans that can accommodate groups. If you find a driver you like, we recommend asking for their contact information so you can schedule additional rides if needed. Car Rentals Renting a car is a great option if you would like to explore the island at your own pace or spend time away from the resort. Please note that driving is on the left side of the road in St. Thomas, and the terrain can be hilly.

Question

How do I get to St. John?

Answer

To get to St. John, you’ll first fly into Cyril E. King Airport (STT) on St. Thomas. From there, it’s about a 35–40 minute drive to the Red Hook Ferry Terminal, where you’ll catch the ferry to Cruz Bay on St. John. Ferries typically run every hour, making it an easy connection once you arrive. Taxis are readily available right outside the airport and are the most common way to get to Red Hook, though private transfers can also be arranged if you prefer a more direct experience.

Question

Do I need a Passport to travel to St. Thomas?

Answer

No passport is required for travel to St. Thomas, as it is part of the U.S. Virgin Islands. A valid government issued ID is all you need to fly. Starting May 7, 2025, a REAL ID compliant driver’s license or another TSA accepted form of identification, such as a passport, will be required for all domestic flights, including travel to U.S. territories. If your ID is not REAL ID compliant, you will need to use a passport or another accepted form of identification to board your flight.

Question

What Should we Wear for the Outdoor Ceremony?

Answer

Our wedding will be outdoors in the morning, so we recommend dressy casual or beach cocktail attire. Lightweight fabrics like linen are great for men, and short or long dresses are perfect for women. Comfortable shoes are recommended for the beach.
