1. What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

I recommend that guests arrive 15 minutes or so before the official ceremony start time so everyone can get settled before the proceedings. Doors to the church will be open two hours before!

2. What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Ladies should wear cocktail dresses, and the gentlemen should wear a suit and tie. We hope our wedding will be a fun excuse to wear your favorite cocktail attire!

3. Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The wedding ceremony, cocktail hour and reception will all take place indoors.

4. Does your wedding have a theme?

Answer

We are having a peacock theme! You can dress in any color you please, but if you wish to match with the wedding party, you can dress in jeweled tones of green, purple, or blue.

5. Can I bring my kids?

Answer

Of course! We would love to accommodate children at our wedding. There is a children's room at the church and a huge lobby suitable enough for the kids to play in at the wedding reception.

6. Will there be food and drinks served?

Answer

We'll be serving hors d'oeuvres butler-style during cocktail hour, followed by a three-course family-style dinner and dessert. Our main mission is to make you stuffed!

7. I have dietary restrictions/allergies. What's the best way to let you know?

Answer

A vegan/vegetarian option is available at our reception. If you need to reach out to us directly with any concerns, please email the bride at magdelanaahearn@gmail.com. We want you to be safe and comfortable!

Yes, of course!

9. Can I take pictures during the ceremony to post on social media?

Answer

Yes, you may take pictures during the ceremony and reception. Please send them to the bride too!

10. When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Your response is appreciated before June 11, 2022. There will be a RSVP with the wedding invitation. There is also an online option as well on this website.

11. Do you have a hotel block for guests?

Answer

Yes, we do! We have a hotel block at the Hampton Inn in Crown Point, Indiana. It's only a couple of minutes away from the reception! Look for more information under the "Travel" tab. In addition, we even listed a number of hotels, going from budget to expensive, that you can check out too!
