Sunny’s Steakhouse
One of our favorite restaurants. It’s trendy, but worth the hype! If you can get a reservation, take it. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu and their martinis are the best!
Barra Callao
A super small local gem! The chef and owner prepares your meal right in front of you. Enjoy amazing ceviche and other Peruvian delicacies.
Bar Kaiju
This is our favorite bar in Miami! It’s small, hidden away on the second floor of a food hall, and has a really cool Japanese monster-themed menu. Sam & Maga pro tip: enjoy some food at the Citadel food hall first and then head up to Kaiju for a nightcap!
Phuc Yea
A super fun and delicious Colombian-Vietnamese fusion spot in MiMo. Fun fact: we had our second date here!
Patagonia Nahuen
The best quick Argentinian spot in town! They have multiple locations. We are big fans of their delicious facturas and sandwiches de miga.
Ricky Thai Bistro
A no-frills local Thai spot that has quickly become one of our favorites!
Magie
A quirky wine bar with a great snack menu! Fun fact: we celebrated our birthdays (we were born 4 days apart!) here in 2024.
Ariete
We recently tried this Michelin Star Miami landmark and loved it! It has a unique menu that is super flavorful. Sam & Maga pro tip: Magie’s second location is right next door, so head there for a glass of wine before or after dinner!
