This area is the old warehouse district. It has tons of cool shops and breweries and is really easy to walk around. We bring guests here every time we have an out of town visitor. Consider starting at Aslin Beer Co, stopping by Peace, Love, and Little Donuts for a snack, heading over a block to check out some of the specialty stores like Pennsylvania Macaroni Co. and Wholey's fish market, and finishing up at Helltown brewing. For more history on the district or other ideas, see the link below.
Located where the Allegheny and the Monongahela rivers meet to form the Ohio river, this park has some really nice views of the city if the weather is nice.
While you're in town you should check out this museum dedicated to one of Pittsburgh's most famous artists. This is still on our list of things to do before we leave Pittsburgh.
Located in the Strip District, learn about the history of Pittsburgh at this museum. This is also on our bucket list of places we still want to visit.
