We're getting Married

Our love story began on 10th February 2022 in St Columbs Park, where we met for a coffee and a walk. Maeve’s first impression of Kevin was his “pure strong Derry accent,” while Kevin was instantly drawn to Maeve’s “Special, calming and positive aura.” (his own words, I swear). In the early days, Kevin would travel to Strabane on Friday nights (somewhere he'd previously only been to for the big Asda). Maeve would cook dinner and we’d enjoy a cosy night in with Rosie. Saturdays quickly became our date night; starting with dinner and drinks and ending with a steep climb up Bligh’s Lane to Kevin’s mum and dad’s house. In 2023, we rented our first home together. We learned how to live together (how Maeve needs time to 'defrost' in the morning and Kevin likes to pace the floors when he's thinking). Most importantly we established whose job it was to take the bins out and whose job it was to put on fresh bed sheets (you can take a wild guess). In 2024, Kevin surprised Maeve with a proposal at Lake Como on 28th April. One of the best days of our lives, we will never forget our engagement bubble bliss. 2025 was the year we became home owners and bought our first home in The Hillocks. In between balancing work/life and the occasional trip to the Rabbit (iykyk), we’ve always made time for what we love most... HOLIDAYS. So far, we’ve visited nine countries (some more than once!). If you know us, you’ll know we are creatures of habit! 2026; The year we become husband and wife. We are SO EXCITED for our wedding day and feel incredibly lucky to celebrate it with our closest family and friends in a place that is very special to us.
