Our holy promise

This love story started one hot July in San Cristóbal, Dominican Republic, 2016. Maeve was 15 years old on a mission trip with her church when she met a local boy, Francisco. Without a common language, they bonded through music, prayer, and beans and rice. Their love trascended language, and from their first moments together they felt divinely connected. Some called it a teenage crush, others called it chemistry, but Maeve and Francisco knew that this spark was only beginning of a powerful, lifelong love. In 2018 Maeve returned to the Dominican Republic on another trip. It was clear to both of them (and everyone else on the trip) that they deeply cared for each other. Summer of ‘23 they decided that their love was too powerful to ignore; Maeve moved to Hamburg, Germany January 2024. On April 7th, 2024 in Samaná, Dominican Republic, Francisco asked Maeve to marry him. On July 25th, 2025 they will make the holy covenant of marriage in front of their friends and family. Celebrate with them, as they make their eternal promise!
