It was a spring evening in 2013 when destiny played its part in bringing us together. Set up on a blind date by a mutual friend, we embarked on a journey that would change our lives forever. The movie that accompanied our first meeting may have been forgettable, but the sparks between us were anything but. Our shared interests in movies, fine dining, sports, and games quickly became the pillars of our relationship. We'd go to great lengths to discover new culinary delights and cheer each other on at lacrosse and soccer games. Our competitive spirits complemented one another perfectly, and it was clear that we were meant to be a team. Over the past decade, we've conquered the challenges of long-distance love. Maeve attended Penn State and Cal the United States Naval Academy. Even after graduation, Cal moved between Charleston, Groton, and Norfolk during his career in the Navy while Maeve moved back to NJ to pursue her own career. Throughout the challenges of a long-distance relationship, one thing remained constant: our happiness when we were together. Every moment in each other's company was a treasure, making the time spent apart more than worth it. As we stand on the precipice of a new chapter in our lives, one thing remains clear: we're an unbreakable team and each other's biggest fans. Nothing can stand in our way as we continue this beautiful journey together, hand in hand, knowing that our love will only grow stronger with each passing day.
