we’re getting married !

It all began on 4 April 2021, somewhere in France, where two groups of friends went out for a normal day… and came back with a love story. We spotted each other, started talking, and within an hour a lot happened, including a fake proposal that definitely should’ve been our first warning sign that something serious was happening. At some point in the middle of all the laughter, he smoothly added himself on my Snapchat. I confidently said to my friends, “He’ll be blocked in two days.” Spoiler alert: he never was. Our first date took place at a very exclusive, very high-end restaurant… also known as McDonald’s. Trying to impress me, he even drove without a license. Shockingly, that didn’t work either, but somehow, he still got a second date. After two months of getting to know each other and pretending we weren’t already falling in love, he finally declared his feelings and asked me to be his girlfriend on the 21st June 2021. What followed was a long-distance adventure, France to Scotland, filled with FaceTimes, airport goodbyes, and countdowns to the next reunion. In September 2022, I moved to Scotland, and from that moment on we truly began to grow together. Through the highs and lows we never lost sight of the vision for our lives. Our journey wasn’t always easy, but it was ours, and we kept making this one choice every day: to choose each other, to grow together, and to let God guide us through every season. Then, after 4 years of love, growth, and endless laughter, on 8 January 2025, he finally asked the real big question, no fake proposal this time. And of course… I said yes.
