Does the ceremony start at 4pm or do we arrive at 4pm?

Answer

The Wedding Ceremony starts at 4pm. We welcome guests to arrive 15- 30 minutes prior so you can enjoy a glass of champagne while you make your way to the ceremony location. Please keep in mind that there is traffic in Sorrento at times, so leave room in your schedule to account for traffic.

Are the Ceremony and Reception being held at the same location?

Answer

Yes, both events are being held at Villa Antiche Mura on premises.

What about additional guests?

Answer

This is your personal invitation to the ceremony and reception. Please be mindful due to the circumstances that additional guests cannot be accommodated.

What is the weather in Sorrento like at the beginning of October?

Answer

Weather is always a variable, but average weather in Sorrento at this time of year is 78-66 degrees Fahrenheit. The nights can be chilly.

Will there be a shuttle to and from the venue?

Answer

Given the number of guests we have scattered throughout the city, we are not providing transportation to and from the venue. We recommend getting a taxi to your destination. Your hotel can help in arranging transportation if needed.

Will there be social distancing measures in place?

Answer

We look forward to having all of our favorite people together in one place! With the current guidelines in mind, we do encourage you to refrain from handshakes, hugs or other physical contact with any guests outside of your household. We have also created our seating plan in line with the current COVID-19 restrictions to allow adequate space between guests during dinner, and will be seating guests together with their close family and household members.

Will the wedding be hosted indoors or outdoors?

Answer

As an additional safety measure, we have opted to plan an outdoor wedding. Our ceremony will be hosted on the terrace, with a reception to follow in the garden. The venue has plenty of space to move around!

Do we need to wear a mask?

Answer

Under the current event restrictions, all guests will be required to wear a mask unless you are eating or drinking. We will be providing masks at the venue for your convenience (or, feel free to bring your own if preferred!)

What additional safety measures will be taken on the day?

Answer

Rest assured, that your health and safety is our top priority! Along with adhering to the current restrictions and guidelines, we have chosen to implement the following additional safety measures at our wedding: We will have multiple sanitizing stations set up around the venue, including upon arrival and in each bathroom. All wait staff and bar staff will be wearing masks and gloves. Our seating plan has been arranged to allow adequate between each table, and we will be grouping guests according to their families and household members.
