Andrew and Maegan's circles have overlapped most of their lives, although they didn't know that until they were much older. As children they attended the same church and lived only a few blocks away from each other. However they didn't actually meet one another until high school, but even then they were just acquaintances. It wasn't until 2014 when the two bumped into each other on a local fire assignment, that they even really spoke to one another. At that time, Andrew was working for the Grand Ronde Tribe while Maegan was working for the Oregon Department of Forestry. After that run in, Andrew reached out to Maegan a few different times, until the stars aligned... well actually the pipes burst, and Maegan needed a night out. Maegan's classroom pipes froze and burst, flooding her entire classroom and Andrew just happened to ask her to grab drinks with him and a few of his friends that night. From there the two built a great friendship that eventually blossomed into love. After the initial drinks, Maegan and Andrew spent the winter snowboarding together, the spring rock climbing and the summer watching over each others dogs while they took their turns away on fire assignments. It was that summer that they realized they cared for each other more than just friends. They started officially dating and by 2015 Andrew and Ruby (his dog) had officially moved in with Maegan and River (her dog). Since then, Andrew and Maegan have had many adventures together. Including home remodel, traveling, pet ownership and many camping trips.
