Maid of Honor
As my sister, who has known me the longest, she has a lot of embarrassing Madyson stories to tell and none of them are true (okay, maybe a few). Alyssa is currently studying to be a nurse at Texas Women's University and has four adorable pets who take up the other half of her time (see Benny the boxer pictured). One of my favorite things about Alyssa is her witty and dry sense of humor. She has enough material for a great, albeit dark, standup routine.

Even though we've been long-distance best friends for the last 6 years, Carolyn is someone I can always count on to make me laugh and provide thought-provoking conversation. Carolyn is currently a PhD candidate at the University of Maryland studying Rhetoric and Political Culture. She is also a very devoted cat mom to her very handsome cat, Emerson. Some of my favorite memories with Carolyn include driving cross country in a 20-foot Uhaul to move to from Waco, Texas to Maryland.
Bridesmaid
I can safely say Andrea is the only roommate I had in college that I enjoyed living with -- too bad we waited to live together until senior year. From her compassion and selflessness to her goofiness, Andrea always makes me feel valued while also making sure we don't take things too seriously. Some of my favorite Andrea memories include introducing our parents to our window-less apartment, late-night study sessions, and helping plan her proposal and surprise engagement party.

Maelyn is my oldest and dearest friend. We met at church when I was in 8th grade and she was a freshman in high school and have been fortunate to prioritize our friendship over the years. Maelyn and I have been friends through the good, the bad, and the ugly of life and her encouragement and optimistic outlook are incredibly valuable. From sleepovers in bunkbeds to camping with our dogs, Maelyn is always down for an adventure and I am grateful to have such a kind and loyal friend in my life.
Best Man
Noe and I met during my second year of Grad School at Texas Tech. We were fast friends and have maintained that connection throughout our friendship. Noe is also a CFP® professional like me, and because of that most of our conversations revolve around high-level financial topics, whether it is our own take on budgeting, new tax/estate laws that have been implemented, or crazy stories of our clients making poor decisions. I have numerous good memories with Noe, from learning about a proper Mexican Taco, taking scooters in and around Downtown Austin, or staying up late having deep conversations. He is the first person to be there when you need a friend and the first person to lend support when needed.
Best Man
Troy and I met freshman year of college while playing indoor soccer at the Rec center, since then we have been roommates on two separate occasions, and helped each other through breakups, and hangovers. Troy and I are adventure buddies, we have been on numerous backpacking and national park trips together, and somehow with all that close time together we are still friends. Troy, much like I, loves doing hard things and pushing himself, without that mentality I can honestly say I would not have the same interest today that I would have Troy and I not continued our friendship after college
Groomsman
Adam and I met during my freshmen year of college, specifically in a Soccer course that we took together. Adam and I have always maintained a friendship no matter the distance but thankfully for me Adam was able to move to Austin a couple of years ago. Since then we have trained for a 10k together, trail ran for the first time, and gone to more than a few concerts together. Adam has helped expose me to a lot of things that otherwise I would have no perspective on, I am grateful for his friendship, jokes, and desire to go on long runs!

Andrew is one of my oldest friends, I am not even certain I can pinpoint the exact moment we met, Andrew has just always been there. We have been on a couple of soccer teams together, ran cross country and track together, and even ran a marathon together. Over all those miles we have ran we have shared quite a few close conversations, we used to have a saying “What’s said on the run, stays on the run” Andrew and I unfortunately don’t live in the same city anymore but that hasn’t put a damper on the friendship we have built and maintained throughout the years
