Diego and I took a week off to spend time together. On Thursday October 17th, 2024 Diego and I went up to Duluth for the day and Diego said he had a surprise! When we got there we had sometime to spare, walked a little got some Caribou, found our new favorite taco spot in Duluth. Then it was time for Diego’s big surprise! Diego put in the directions, he told me I couldn’t look and that I couldn’t back out when I found out, so I was stuck looking out the window. 15 min later we arrived it was kinda hidden and I was wondering what the heck was happening? Well then I saw an airplane, I was confused? He parked and I said “where are we? What are we doing?” He said “Helicopter ride! Don’t say no!” We went inside got all checked in! Then it was time to go! We went for a while (recommend going)! We came back and before we took off the receptionist took our picture, well I guess the pictures didn’t turn out so she asked if she could take more. I was the first one to get out then Diego, he walked over and said “I love you” and I said “ I love you! She’s taking another picture.” I look over at him and he’s down on one knee!
