Corey and Madyson first met while attending college in San Luis Obispo. Their roommates first introduced them in 2013, and although Corey didn’t think much of it at the time, it was a moment Mady would remember (and never let him forget) until they started dating a year later. College dating for these two consisted of date nights in downtown SLO, failed sunset beach picnics, motorcycles rides down the coast, costume parties at social events, and multiple hikes exploring the views of the Central Coast. Once Corey graduated in 2014, Corey and Mady were dedicated to make the distance work. Corey visited Mady almost every weekend up until she graduated in June 2016. Shortly after graduation Corey and Mady moved in together and decided to get their dog, Brutus. Throughout the years, Corey and Mady have traveled across many states experiencing college football games, visiting friends and family, and making lifetime memories together.

Corey finally worked up the courage after 8 long years, and decided that the best place to propose to Madyson, would be where it all began. Corey set up a picnic and proposed after playing “Wanted” by Hunter Hayes on his keyboard. Through tears and actual jumps of joy, Mady said yes! We can't wait to celebrate with all of you on October 7, 2023.
