Gabe and Mady met in high school, where they kept running into each other through the same clubs. They started out as friends in a mutual friend group, spending a lot of time together at meetings, events, and anything else they were both involved in. Somewhere along the way, that friendship turned into something more, and in 2022 they started dating. Since then, they’ve grown up a lot together, going from high school friends to building a life side by side, and they’re so grateful that all those shared activities brought them together in the first place.

Gabe proposed to Mady at the very beginning of their vacation in the Outer Banks, and it couldn’t have been a more perfect start to the trip. They went down to the beach, and while walking along the shore, he surprised her by getting down on one knee and asking her to marry him. The moment made the entire week feel even more special, knowing they were celebrating their engagement the whole time. Afterward, they went out for a nice seafood dinner and played putt-putt, making the engagement even more memorable and giving them plenty of moments to celebrate together.

One of Gabe and Mady’s favorite things to do together is simply spend time side by side, no matter what they’re doing. They love going to the movies (and watch an average of 1.5 a week), exploring new places, spending time at Cedar Point, and taking trips together whenever they get the chance. Some of their favorite memories have come from traveling to places like New York City, Columbus, Nashville, Outer Banks, West Virginia, and Alabama. When they’re at home, they enjoy playing video games together, going to the mall, taking walks, or going out to dinner. It’s the little everyday moments that mean the most to them.

Gabe and Mady are so grateful to have family and friends joining them to celebrate their special day. Whether traveling from near or far, it means the world to them that everyone is taking the time to be there. They feel incredibly lucky to have such supportive people in their lives and wouldn’t be where they are today without that love. They are excited to celebrate, make new memories, and share this day with the people who mean the most to them. The support and care of their friends and family truly mean everything to them.
