On November 19th 2016, we met at Life.Church, right before going on a group hangout/double date (depending upon who you ask). We rode in Preston's "monster truck" to Empire slice house, where everyone got Pizza and I got a salad... gluten free probz! After eating, we went to my favorite coffee shop, Cuppies & Joe and enjoyed some coffee until the place closed for the night. On the drive back, we all jammed out and sang to worship music at the top of our lungs! Two days later, it was Preston's birthday and the two of us (plus one), hung out together, which consisted of a trip to wal-mart to purchase birthday candles, and later enjoyed some ice-cream. Two days after THAT, the two of us went to the mall to get my mom a present for her birthday which was the next day! I went into that night thinking it might be awkward, but boy was I wrong when hanging out with Preston one on one turned out to be the most natural thing ever! That night was the night I started to think about 'what could be' with Preston. We sat in my car and chatted for a while before we finally turned the car off to part our own ways. The next week, Preston drove down to Norman to visit me and we hung-out for a little while... or several hours. I actually skipped my class just to spend time with him, (but didn't tell him that until after the class was over)! From that day on, it was just the two of us hanging out, sometimes with our families! We went to the mall a lot and saw movies, went to go eat (mainly chic-fil-a) and even went on a mini road-trip/first date to the Red Rock Canyon. On January 1st, we finally had "the talk" of how we felt about each other and started officially dating! -M
