The place that started it all (AKA where we had our first date!)
Best cheese curds in town. We recommend sitting out on the patio. Grab one of their tiki cocktails!
One of our favorite walks in the city. The main street has a quaint old movie theater and outdoor restaurants. It's near many Minneapolis favorites, including Guthrie Theater and Pillsbury A. Mill Museum.
Mini golf course designed by local artists. Our favorite is the first hole inspired by the MN State Fair!
Our favorite brewery. And trust us, there's lot of them around here! Ryan suggests the Hells Furious and Marianne enjoys the flavored seltzers. Features a sit down restaurant on the first floor and grab-and-go pizza on the second floor.
Go back to the 80s at Up Down Arcade. You can play childhood favorites like Donkey Kong, Pac Man, and other classics. Did we mention there's mac and cheese pizza?
Walk (and people watch!) around any of the lakes, including Harriet, Calhoun (now known as Bde Maka Ska), and Lake of the Isles. If you're feeling adventurous, rent a paddleboard or kayak.
This place screams NOSTALGIA! Reminds us of field trips back in elementary school. Classic.
