We matched on Hinge not once, but twice - because apparently, once just wasn’t enough. Mike shot his shot, Madison agreed to a date… and then promptly bailed when she scored last-minute box seats to see Harry Styles at MSG. Can you really blame her? Perks of working in insurance. Luckily, Mike forgave her (eventually) and gave it another go. Our first real date was on September 3, 2022, at Jackdaw in the East Village. We spent hours talking, and soon after, we were trying new restaurants around Hoboken and hitting golf balls at Chelsea Piers (some more successfully than others). On New Year’s Eve, Mike asked Madison to be his girlfriend - clearly a solid start to 2023. Since then, we've made memories all over the world: from the hills of Medellín to the pubs of England, from Portugal’s coast to countless sunny weekends in Florida. In May 2024, we moved in together on the Upper West Side, where things got real. Madison slowly corrupted Mike into a full-blown reality TV fan (he now has opinions on Vanderpump Rules), while Mike somehow convinced Madison to sit through an actual wrestling match - despite her fear that someone might break their legs. Growth on both sides. In December 2024, we welcomed our pup, Tater, who immediately became the boss of the apartment. And then came March 8, 2025 - during a walk in Central Park with Tater, Mike got down on one knee. Both of our families were waiting nearby to celebrate with us, but Mike had one more surprise up his sleeve: a party back at Jackdaw, where it all began.
