Madison and Toby have been together since March of 2018 when Madison was a junior and Toby was a senior in high school. They started dating soon after Toby “Prom-posed” to Madison with a box of shotgun shells that said “will you ride shotgun with me to prom”. Fun fact: Madison still has that box of shells in her childhood bedroom! When Madison started school at Clemson in 2019, it only made them grow closer. For four years, the drive to and from Clemson became a regular route for the two! As the saying goes, distance makes the heart grow fonder. While it was an extremely impactful and amazing time, the couple was grateful when they got to fully reunite in 2023. In the last 8 years, they have made wonderful memories together. Many date nights, trips, and quality time spent with each other. Side note—cruises tend to be one of their favorites! However, some places hold a special part in their hearts. The most important being the lake. It’s where they have celebrated many things: Tobys high school graduation, Madisons college graduation, and most importantly, their engagement. Summers spent there every year since they have been dating has made it a truly special place to reminisce. They have spent years growing up together but are now eager for October 17th to get here! In the meantime, they will be working on the land they just purchased in Ravenel, SC—which tends to keep them pretty busy! They are excited to build their dream home and start their family there. The countdown until forever is officially on!
