Madison and Dan grew up just about 5 minutes from each other in neighboring towns on the west side of Cleveland. They also both went to Miami University of Ohio just 2 years apart. Despite this, they oddly enough met for the first time one night at a John Mayer concert at Blossom in 2010. It was summertime and Dan was about to enter his Junior year while Madison was about to enter her Freshman year, both at MU, though neither of them knew any of this at the time. That night at the concert, Dan went up to Madison and introduced himself. They got to chatting and eventually he asked her for her number. It may have not been his most suave moment, but Madison thought he was very, very, cute. After that night, years went by - they both eventually graduated from Miami and went their separate ways. Dan went off to med school and Madison moved away to Chicago directly after graduating. By 2016, Madison had moved back home to CLE and Dan was now living there as well. Both were focused on building their lives and were looking for a partner to do so with. Weirdly enough, it was a dating app that reconnected them to each other. They instantly “match”. Dan messaged her something sweet, reminding her of that night they met years ago. After some time catching up and chatting, Dan asked her out on their first date - which she agreed to. That night, they met at what would grow to be one of their favorite spots - "Treehouse" in Tremont. Little did they know, Tremont would be the neighborhood where they’d live in their first homes together and begin to build a life together. After that, the rest is history! Madi and Dan fell for each other fast. Fast forward 5 years later, Dan and Madison were living in their first home together in Tremont. It was the 4th of July and they had plans that night to go over to a simple cookout at Dan’s parents house. Just after Madison finished getting ready to leave, Dan asked her to come out to their front porch. As she followed him out, she saw that the porch was beautifully decorated with rose petals covering the floor, along with a champagne set up and their “song” playing in the background. She said yes! After that, they headed to the "simple cookout" at Dan's parents', which turned out to be much more than that. When they walked in, they were greeted by their closest family and friends and showered with love and celebration. It was the best, most unforgettable day!
