There is so much to do in Northern California and we hope you get a chance to explore. Separate from the wineries, we have included some additional activities and restaurants that should be on your radar.

Hikes

Robert Louis Stevenson State Park

The park is 7 miles north of Calistoga on Highway 29 or "Lake County Highway" (Past Amici Cellars). It should take approx. 15 mins from Calistoga hotels and 25 minutes from Saint Helena. Oat Hill Mine Trail: 13 mile hike offered with gradual uphill climbs. A pizza joint across the street from the trail head on the Calistoga side to end the journey. Mount Saint Helena Trail: 9 miles out and back with stunning views! After passing the sign for Robert Louis Stevenson State Park, and just over the crest, there is a parking area on the right side of the road.

Boating and Paddle Boarding

More information to come! Brad and I are looking into renting a couple boats for anyone who is interested in spending an afternoon on the lake on Sunday.
