Luigi's Restaurant and Delicatessen
Luigi's is Bakersfield's best Italian restaurant lunch spot. Fridays and Saturdays are the best days to eat outside on the patio and enjoy good cocktails. Be sure to go early!
Riverwalk Plaza
Riverwalk has a walking trail and pond. A great Mexican food spot in this area is La Costa. There are shops all around including Target, Sephora, Bevmo, Chipotle, and Handel's ice cream
Buck Owens' Crystal Palace
Bakersfield's Iconic restaurant owned by country music legend Buck Owens and his family. Zach and Maddie both spent many nights here at the same concerts! This restaurant doubles as a museum too, as there is many country music classic memorabilia.
Benji's French Basque Restaurant
Benji's is a Bakersfield Staple for Basque food. Basque Country is a region in Spain and France that's known for its diverse cuisine. This is Zach and Maddie's favorite Basque restaurant in town! It's family style so come prepared to EAT!
Lengthwise The Pub
The couples first time meeting and date was at Lengthwise. It's a great place to go grab a glass of wine or sip on a local brew.

Good food and local brews. There are usually a lot of events going on here; line dancing, local concerts, paint nights, etc.
