When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by February 28th, 2026, to allow us to plan accordingly. You can use the QR code on the back of the wedding invite/ by clicking the RSVP tab above, or mail responses to the address on the back of the card. If you DO NOT RSVP by this date you will be put down as not coming, your presence will be missed!

Is the ceremony and reception at the same place?

Answer

No, they are not. The ceremony and reception will be held at two different locations, and we kindly ask that all guests RSVP for both events due to separate venue capacities and planning needs. Please note: We will NOT be hosting any events between the ceremony and reception (3-5:30) Ceremony: Water to Wine Venue and Hall 2:30pm-3pm 12810 Lulu Road Ida, MI 48140 Reception: Dusseasu's Reception Center- Crystal Ballroom 5:30pm-11pm 12200 Lewis Ave Temperance, MI 48182

What time should I arrive for the ceremony & reception?

Answer

Doors will open approx. 15 mins before the ceremony. Please enter through the front of the building, there is a handicap ramp available in the back of the building to the main floor where the ceremony will be held. Parking is in the back, a parking attendant will be assisting prior to event. The reception will begin at 5:30 PM, doors will open about 15 mins prior for people to start getting in their seats. Plenty of parking is available in the back where the reception will be held.

Is attendance mandatory for ceremony and reception?

Answer

No, attendance is not mandatory for both events — you’re welcome to join us for whichever parts you can! However, we kindly ask that everyone RSVP for both the ceremony and reception so we can plan accordingly, as our ceremony space has limited capacity.

What is the attire?

Answer

We’re asking guests to dress in semi-formal attire for both the ceremony and reception. Men: Polos, khakis, button-down shirts, dress pants, etc. Women: Dresses, skirts, blouses, dressy jumpsuits, etc. We kindly ask for no jeans, rips, tears, or hats, and please avoid wearing white or ivory.

Is it an open bar?

Answer

Yes! This will be an open bar event — drinks are on us, so relax and enjoy the celebration!

Can I bring a plus one? Are kids allowed?

Answer

Due to venue restrictions, we kindly ask that only those listed on your invitation attend.
