Our story began long before either of us could have imagined where life would take us. William and I first met during the summer before 4th grade when my twin brother and William were trying out for the same baseball team. As the years went on, our families became friends, and we spent time together growing up. Even though we attended rival high schools, we continued to cross paths. One of our favorite memories from those years was going to homecoming together in 9th grade. Life eventually took us in different directions, but somehow we always remained a part of each other’s story. After I graduated from Ole Miss, William reached out and asked if I wanted to hang out and catch up. What began as two longtime friends reconnecting soon became something much more. Our friendship grew into a love story neither of us could have predicted, filled with a whole lot of love and laughter along the way. One year into dating, we moved to Orlando together, where we spent three wonderful years building our relationship, creating memories, and growing even closer. Eventually, we made our way back home to Atlanta, where our love continued to flourish. After five years of dating and thirteen years of friendship, William asked me to marry him. What started as a childhood friendship has become the greatest adventure of our lives, and we can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with all of our favorite people
