Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?
Answer
The ceremony will be at Saint James Catholic Church. The cocktail hour and reception will follow at the Fairview Park Marriot in Falls Church, VA.

What is the dress code for your wedding?
Answer
Formal attire. We suggest that men wear a suit (tux optional) in any color, and women wear an evening gown or tea-length cocktail dress. The ceremony and reception will be indoors.

What accommodations are available for out-of-town guests?
Answer
A room block will be reserved for our guests at the Fairview Park Marriot. Booking information can be found on the "Travel" page on our website. Additionally, a shuttle will be provided for out-of-town guests needing transportation to and from the ceremony and hotel. Please let us know in your RSVP if you plan on taking the shuttle!

Can I take photos at the ceremony?
Answer
Our wedding ceremony will be a full traditional Catholic mass. We kindly ask that all cell phones be turned off or set on silent so that all guests can be fully present to celebrate this meaningful sacrament with us. We have hired professional photographers who will document the occasion. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos as you like!

Are there other events during the wedding weekend?
Answer
The evening before the wedding, all out-of-town guests are invited to join us for drinks at the Fairview's Ellipse Lounge. Beer and wine will be complimentary and mixed drinks will be available for purchase. We can't wait to see you there!

Are children invited to the wedding?
Answer
While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time so you can celebrate with us.

What type of food will be served at your wedding?
Answer
We will be serving hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour followed by a sit-down dinner with a choice of entree. Please let us know in advance if you have any dietary restrictions.
