When should I RSVP by? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Answer

Please respond by October 1st. To streamline the process and reduce paper usage, we have set up an online RSVP system. It will only take a few minutes to RSVP online, but if there are any difficulties during the RSVP process, please contact Madison or Waylin to RSVP.

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal. Semi formal is usually described as dressing for a fancy dinner. This can include dresses, a jumpsuit, or slacks and a blouse. Men can wear dress pants with a button up shirt.

While we adore your children, children are only invited if named. We thank you for your understanding and can't wait to celebrate with you!

Can I bring a date?

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. We appreciate your understanding.

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

While the official wedding ceremony start time is 3:00pm, we recommend that guests arrive 15 minutes early so that everyone can get settled before the proceedings.

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

Answer

The ceremony and reception are both taking place at The Meadows Event Venue in Dexter, Missouri.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outdoors outside of the venue (weather permitting). The reception will be indoors.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We will conducting an unplugged ceremony, which means that we kindly request that guests refrain from using electronic devices such as cameras, smartphones, or tablets during the ceremony. We understand that capturing moments is important, and that's why we have hired a professional photographer to document the ceremony and capture beautiful, high-quality images for us to cherish.

What happens after the wedding ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests can head straight into the reception for the social hour.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

We understand that alcohol is a popular choice for wedding receptions, but we have decided to host an alcohol-free reception. Our intention is to create an inclusive and family-friendly atmosphere where everyone can feel comfortable and enjoy themselves without the presence of alcohol.
