Best Man
Cody is my younger brother and one of my closest friends. Even though we use to body slam each other into the kitchen floor (brotherly love), we were always close. Cody was always there for me when I needed a player 2 in video games or for somebody to act in my stupid Youtube videos. Most importantly he was there whenever I really needed somebody. I'm so happy to see the man that Cody has become. He is making amazing music and getting ready to finish his degree producing. I can't wait to see where this takes him and to listen to all of his songs. I'm honored to be able to show people my wedding pictures one day and say that the one and only Dakota Burns was there, standing next to me.
Bayley Levine
Maid of Honor
Bayley inspires me. She is currently in school to become a child therapist. Her life goal is to help children who are in a difficult life situation and give them a voice and the tools to make their lives better. This says so much about who she is. She loves hard and she fights for those she loves. She pursues justice every single day and encourages her peers to do the same. She is constantly learning and educating others. She fully lives out Micah 6:8, "...and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?" I am so grateful she is my Maid of Honor.
Cale Patterson
Best Man
What a wise and godly man. We started hanging out in my Junior, his Freshman, year of High School. We met at youth group and hung out most days after school, long boarding and playing Pokemon Go. Cale and I led on the student leadership team at church together. The light of Christ is so apparent in Cale and he knows how to show it. Even though he is two years younger than me, he leads me. He is so wise beyond his years. I'm honored for Cale to share the title of Best Man.
Brittany Wofford
Matron of Honor
I look up to Brittany more than she realizes. She is a great mom to Mabel and Nora. I have loved watching her grow as a mother these past 7 years because she is constantly evolving. I am thankful to have someone like her to look up to in that area and every other area in life. When we were little there was such a large age difference that we weren't very close because we were in completely different stages of life. But as we've gotten older, that drastic difference has closed some and we have begun to bond as adults. I have really enjoyed this time of learning about each other and noticing just how similar we really are. I am so grateful she can stand by side, like I did 10 years ago for her.
Micah Kirby

Because they were best friends, Madison and her best friend, Micah's wife, Rebecca, forced us to like each other and hang out. Well jokes on them because we now spend as much of our time together as possible. While we have only known each other a short time, Micah and I hit it off instantly. We now spend our time getting dubs together against 10 year olds on video games. I was honored to stand next to Micah on his wedding day and am honored he will stand next to me. I admire the man Micah is and the husband he is to his wife.
Rebecca Kirby

Rebecca and I have been best friends since Sophomore year of high school. She is my go-to for knowledge and positivity. One of the things I admire about Becca is that she seizes every moment of her day. She can do more things in 24 hours than I can do in a week. Becca knows what she wants and she is willing to push herself to achieve her goals. I love this about her. This perseverance quality is amazing to witness as a friend. She will never give up on you and she is there with you through everything. Rebecca is the truest form of a best friend.
Kendall Dwyre

I've never met a more goofy, genuine guy than Kendall Dwyre. My freshman year of college at the University of Kansas, I was introduced to Kendall via text when I was invited to a bible study. At first I thought he was probably a huge dork. Then I realized we were huge dorks in all the same ways and started hanging out daily. My freshman year, Kendall inspired me to really come out of my shell. He was the first real friend I had in college and even though we don't see each other much, since I transferred to Liberty University, Kendall is still one of my truest friends and inspires me to be a more genuine human every day.
Sadie Ashcroft

Sadie and I met freshman year of college during a hall "get to know you" party and I was INTIMIDATED. I mean she is one of the prettiest people I have ever met and let me tell you - I was starstruck. Once I also saw she is one of the nicest people ever, she quickly became my closest confidant. We shared everything. I think we would both say we have not experienced a bond like that before each other. Sadie is incredibly talented at everything she puts her mind to: photography, videography, acting, singing, comedy, decorating. You name it and she can do it. She is also talented at making her friends feel loved. She knows exactly what to say and is always an encouragement during good times and bad.
Trevor Howard

There is not a single person in the world I would be more honored to be roasted by than Trevor Douglas Howard. Trevor and I really hit it off with our shared sense of humor while practicing for worship band for KU Christian Challenge. I was also quick to look up to him with his faith in Christ. When he, Kendall, and I began hanging out, I knew I had truly found my people. Even though it's been a couple years since we have seen each other, it always feels like no time has passed when we are on the phone. I cannot wait to hang and have Trevor stand with me on Madison and I's wedding day.
Kaylee Nedrow

Kaylee has been my biggest supporter and my number one fan. She is always there to cheer me on and encourage me when I am feeling low. Kaylee's probably been the biggest influence in my life, thus far. She has taught me how to be authentically myself and how to embrace life at the fullest. She has been there during probably the hardest times of my life and has stood by me through it all. She reminds me of my boundaries and has helped me become a better person. I am so excited she'll be beside me on my wedding day.
Cameron Levine

Cameron introduced himself to me, the first morning of my visit to see Madison for the first time by trying to jump scare me as I came up from the basement stairs. While it didn't work, I appreciated the effort. Since then, I have many times scared Cameron using the same tactic. It has worked every time. Also since then, I have witnessed Cameron grow into a pretty cool dude. I've enjoyed watching all of the Disney+ Marvel shows with him and talking about video games. It's been great to get to know Cameron over the past four years and I cannot wait to be his new brother.
Maddy Rasmusson

Maddy is the MOST fun. We met during freshman year of college and she has been a constant source of encouragement since then. We were so close that people literally thought we were the same person. Something that is immediately notable about Maddy is how gorgeous she is. She is a pro at makeup application, a fashion ~queen~, and her accessories are always top-notch. But more than that, Maddy is gorgeous on the inside. She reflects Christ in everything she does. No decision is made without spending time in prayer and I love that about her. She also always owns up to her mistakes. She really embodies 2 Corinthians 2:19b: "Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me." When you look at Maddy, you see Christ.
Josh Gautsch

I've known Josh the shortest amount of time of the other groomsmen but that doesn't make the friendship any less. Josh and I had Cinematography together my Junior year of college. I don't know why but one day he picked me up Chick-fil-A and then we started sharing many laughs. Our friendship really hit it off when he started working at Starbucks with me. Josh is super funny dude with a creative mind. I am honored Josh would stand beside me on my wedding day.
Abi Bushey

Abi is a true friend. She lived down the hall from me freshman year and the thing that drew me to her immediately was her love and acceptance of others. She welcomes you with open arms and does not keep any record of wrong. She will always stick up for you - especially when you're not around. She will do whatever it takes to make you comfortable and happy. I love Abi's generous spirit and her open heart. I will never be able to thank God enough for the pleasure of being Abi's friend.
Mabel Wofford

Mabel Louanne is my very first niece and a ray of sunshine. She has a heart of gold and is the most caring 6 year old. She loves fiercely and does not let anyone feel left out. She has a crazy imagination and I have no doubt she is going to change the world. I have learned and loved so much because of Mabel and I am grateful God has put her on this earth. I can't wait to see what He does in her life.

Eleanor Elizabeth is a ball of sass. She is also the world's biggest lover of Chick-fil-A sauce. She has a huge heart for others and wants to serve. Every morning last summer she would go and "harvest" the garden for her mom. She gave me a full spa treatment when we spent the weekend at a cabin together (complete with spa music and everything). She loves her friends and her family so much. I am so grateful for everything she has taught me in her 4 short years.
