FAQs

Question

When and how do I RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP by September 9, 2024 for both the welcome party and the wedding by using the RSVP tab on this website.

Question

What if I need to update or change my RSVP after September 9?

Answer

Please contact the bride or groom directly as soon as possible. You can update your RSVP prior to September 9 on the RSVP tab.

Question

How do I get to the wedding and will there be parking?

Answer

There is no reserved parking for the wedding venue. While The French Quarter has paid and metered street parking and multiple paid parking lots, we do not advise driving to the venue. Please use Uber and Lyft to travel to the wedding. These taxi services will drop you off near the Instrument Men statue which is right next to the venue. If your hotel is within the French Quarter you can probably walk!

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is black tie optional. For men this means tuxedos or dark suits, and for women mid-length or long formal gowns. Please keep in mind the second line parade is a 20 minute walk, so don't wear stilettos!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Your invitation will state "and guest" if you are designated a plus one.

Question

Gifts

Answer

The couple has opted to not have a wedding registry. In lieu of gifts, Madison has always cherished hand-written cards, and you are encouraged to write one to the couple. There will be a card box near the guest book at the venue.

Question

Is the venue indoor/outdoor?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will take place indoors. The venue has outdoor balconies that will be open during the reception for guests to enjoy views of The French Quarter. The Second Line will take place outdoors on the streets of New Orleans.

Question

Cell Phones

Answer

We ask that you turn your phone off during the ceremony. However, pictures and videos are welcomed and encouraged for the second line and throughout the reception.

Question

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

New Orleans has an open container policy, so we will be able to bring a drink along for the second line! Also, there will be an open bar at the reception.
