We'd love to see our family & friends dress up with us! The dress code is black-tie optional. The venue is a beautiful, romantic villa, so think Tuscan summer wedding vibes—light, elegant, and chic.

When should I arrive in Florence?

We recommend arriving a few days before the wedding to settle in, explore the city, and avoid any travel hiccups. Florence is beautiful and worth a little extra time!

What airport should I fly into?

Florence’s main airport is Peretola (FLR), just 20 minutes from the city center. You can also fly into Pisa (PSA) or Bologna (BLQ), both about 1–1.5 hours away by train or car.

Typically, late May in Florence is lovely—warm during the day (around 75°F / 24°C), cooler in the evenings, and generally sunny. A light layer or shawl for the evening is a good idea!

Yes! Both the ceremony and reception will be held outdoors. We’ll have a backup plan just in case of rain, but fingers crossed for perfect Tuscan weather.

Florence is a fantastic central location for exploring other beautiful cities and regions in Italy. If you have some extra time, here are a few nearby spots that are worth checking out: Rome (~ 1.5 hours by train): The Eternal City is a must-see, with landmarks like the Colosseum, the Vatican, and ancient ruins. Milan (~ 2 hours by train): A fashion-forward city with incredible art, stunning architecture, and famous sights like the Duomo and The Last Supper.
