Please RSVP by July, 26th 2025 using our website.
Semi-formal! We would also love if our guests wore solid colors, but not white or dark green, and avoid wearing patterns. For example, wearing a completely blue dress rather than a blue dress with a yellow flower pattern on it. We also recommend shoes that are good for walking on grass and gravel.
We will be married at Sadie Lake Weddings! 333 156th St NE, Arlington, WA 98223
Yes! The venue has a large parking area so there will be plenty of parking space.
This event will be both indoor and outdoors! We are hoping we will be able to be married outside by the lake. However, if the weather doesn't allow for it, we will be married inside the barn on the property. Dinner will take place under a large tented area that will either have the sides open or closed, again depending on the weather. Dancing and cake cutting will take place inside the barn, regardless of weather.
There will be a cocktail hour with the following apps! Fresh tomato bruschetta (VG) Goat/cream cheese and pistachio coated strawberries (GF) Cranberry Brie Bites The main meal will consist of one of the following entrees. Smoky rosemary chicken - served with garlic roasted potatoes Vegetarian spinach and ricotta stuffed bell peppers - served over rice with blistered grape tomatoes Other sides include brussel sprouts, a garden salad, and rosemary sea salt rolls. If you have dietary constraints, please let us know, and we will do our best to accommodate!
We would like everyone to arrive at 4pm!
Our reception will end around 9pm, and we do not plan on having an after-party.
A 60-minute cocktail hour will take place between the ceremony and reception where you can enjoy beer, wine, non-alcoholic drinks, and small bites, as well as the photo booth area and lawn games.
Yes, but NOT during the ceremony! We want our photographer to be the only one taking photos during the ceremony. Outside of that, we encourage you to take and share photos. We have not set anything up yet, but we will most likely be creating a Google Drive that photos can be added to. Our plan is to have QR codes around the venue that the photos can be shared to.
We want our guests to let loose and have a good time while at our wedding! We would like to request that children under the age of 14 stay home.
The venue only allows for so many people. Please refer to the guest names listed on your invitation!
Gifts are not required, your presence will be more than enough. If you would like to provide a gift, we will have a card box at the venue! There is also a link to our registry on this site. We aren't asking for anything physical and instead just donations to our honeymoon fund. We are planning to go on our honeymoon in October, 2026. We will be going to Iceland for five days and then Paris for an additional five days. All money we receive will be going towards our air travel, hotels, museum visits, tours, Disneyland Paris, etc.
If you have additional questions, please reach out to our wonderful wedding coordinator, Ashley Swan here, ashleyswanevents@gmail.com.
