Where is the ceremony and reception?

We are going to be at the lovely Pondview Estates in Norwood! (2440 N Asphodel 5th Line, Norwood). The ceremony and reception are at the same venue for everyone’s convenience.

August 22nd 2026 2:45-3:10pm Guests arrive 3:30pm Ceremony starts 4:00pm Ceremony ends, cocktail hour begin 5:30pm Seated for dinner 6:00pm Dinner and speaches 8:00pm Dancing 10:00pm Late night snack 11:00 First shuttle 12:15am Last call 12:45am Final shuttle * Times are subject to change based on the needs of Madison and Stephen, the venue, and vendors.

Yup! Please be settled at the venue for no later than 3:10pm. Guests can arrive as early as 2:45pm.

Where can I stay?

We would recommend the Comfort Inn & Suites as we have arranged shuttle service to and from the venue from this hotel. How do I get there?
Answer
There will be shuttle service from the Comfort Inn and Suites to the venue prior to the ceremony with two return shuttles back throughout the evening. Onsite parking is free! Additionally, taxi or ride share services are available through Capital Taxi or the “U-Ride” app. Uber is NOT available in Peterborough or surrounding areas.

Are there hotel rooms blocked off?

We have a block of 15 rooms blocked off through the Peterborough Comfort Hotel & Suites. The rooms are first come first serve for the discounted rate. Please use the link below for the rate. Even if you are not able to get one of the blocked rooms, we would still recommend the Comfort Inn due to the arranged shuttle service. Can I bring my kids, date, or pet?

Due to venue constrictions, only named people on the invitations may attend. Thank you for your understanding and please reach out to us for clarification.

Can I take my own photos?
Answer
We have a wonderful photographer for our wedding! This will be an unplugged ceremony. Please refrain from having your phones out or taking pictures during the ceremony.

What is the bar situation?
Answer
Great question! We have an open bar on site stocked with a variety of alcohol and non-alcohol options. Tips are always appreciated for the bar staff.

What if I have dietary restrictions?
Answer
Please reach out to us for specific allergies or dietary restrictions and we will work with out caterer to accommodate as best we can.

If the rain is light, there will be umbrellas for all guests. If we’re not so lucky, there is a rain plan in place on site.
