like all great modern love stories... it started with an instagram follow. in April 2022, Steffen followed Madison after seeing her in some Hawaii pictures that her one of her best friends Courtney had posted (shoutout Court). Madison noticed, followed him back, and then... absolutely nothing happened. No messages. No smooth pickup line. Just two people silently existing on each other's instagram feeds. Until June 2022, when Steffen posted a reel on his story that caught Madison's attention. She decided to shoot her shot and replied with a single, bold message: 😍 Thankfully, it worked. They went on their first date at Lee-Hi Lanes in Salem on June 27, 2022, and ended up staying until they closed.
