FAQs

Have questions? We might have the answers.
Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

In lieu of physical RSVP cards, we are asking that all guests RSVP virtually using the "RSVP" tab at the top of your screen. Please do so by Friday, June 13th, 2025. If you have issues utilizing the online RSVP feature, please notify Madison of your plans directly.

Question

What if I am not able to make it?

Answer

You will be missed! Please navigate to the "RSVP" tab at the top of the screen and indicate "Will NOT Attend" or notify Madison of your plans directly if you are unable to utilize the online feature. If you have already RSVP'd "Attending" and things change, please notify Madison as soon as you are able. We get it! Life happens. We hope to see you soon!

Question

What if I don't RSVP in time?

Answer

If we have not received your RSVP by Friday, June 13th, 2025, we will assume that you are not able to join us. While we would love to celebrate with you, we are required to submit a final guest count to our venue. After doing so, we will not be able to accommodate anyone that is not included in that number.

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

Due to space considerations, and in the interest of keeping our celebration intimate and personal to us, we are only able to accommodate the individuals listed on your invitation. If you have received a plus one, this will also be indicated on your invitation. Thank you for your understanding!

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

While we love your little ones, we are unable to accommodate them if they are not listed on your invitation. We invite you to use our celebration as an opportunity to have a date night! If you have any concerns, please reach out to Madison.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

To ensure a cohesive appearance in photos, we are encouraging all guests to dress in Garden Attire. This can include midi and maxi dresses, dressy jumpsuits, and dress pants and shirts (suit jacket and tie optional). This is a very loose requirement (so please do not stress about it too much), but please feel free to reach out to Madison if you're looking for clarification.

Question

Where can I find your wedding registry?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift that we could ask for! That said, if you would like to make a contribution to our life together, please visit the "Registry" tab at the top of your screen for a list of things we'd love. Please feel free to bring cards and gifts to the reception, dropping them off at the table labeled "Cards & Gifts." Please place gifts on the table and cards in the designated box. Cards and gifts may also be shipped directly to the bride and groom. Please reach out if you need our address.

Question

Have any hotel blocks been reserved?

Answer

Due to a limited number of out-of-town guests, we have not reserved any hotel blocks for our celebration. There are, however, numerous hotels in the area. Please reach out to Madison if you have any concerns.

Question

Where is the wedding located?

Answer

The wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will be held indoors at Wildey Theatre in Edwardsville, Illinois. Our ceremony will be held on the second floor, and the reception will be located on the third floor. Both the ceremony and reception will be accessible via stairs or elevator. The physical address of Wildey Theatre is 252 North Main Street, Edwardsville, Illinois, 62025.

Question

How will I get to and from the wedding?

Answer

We have not organized any formal transportation to or from our venue for our guests. Uber and Lyft are available in the area if needed.

Question

Where should I park?

Answer

The Wildey Theatre offers free parking in a shared lot on the right side of their building. If you are not able to find parking in this lot, there is also free parking available at the Madison County Sheriff's Department (405 Randle Street, Edwardsville, Illinois 62025) in the lot located on North Second Street. Street parking should only be used for drop off and pick up of passengers. Please avoid remaining parked on the street in front of the theatre for longer than 20 minutes.

Question

What time does the wedding begin?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00 PM. Guests may begin arriving to the space at 3:30 PM. Please avoid arriving before this time. We ask that all guests be seated by 3:50 PM to avoid any interruptions during the ceremony.

Question

Can I take photos and videos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that you refrain from using your phones during our ceremony, and invite you to be fully present during this special time in our lives. We love our photographer, and you will too! We promise to share all our wonderful photos once we receive them.

Question

What time does the reception begin?

Answer

The reception will begin at 5:30 PM. Please feel free to make your way to the third-floor event space immediately following the ceremony and enjoy the OPEN BAR until the bride and groom arrive!

Question

Can I take photos and videos during the reception?

Answer

Of course! We have even organized a way to share them! Please look out for the QR code posted at the entrance of our reception. Once scanned, you will be asked to open an app clip that will appear on your lock screen for the duration of the event. The best part is you aren't required to download anything to your phone! Any photos that you take or share within the app will be accessible to all guests after the wedding.

Question

What's for dinner?

Answer

For dinner, we will be having fried chicken and mostaccioli with corn and mashed potatoes. Caesar Salad and dinner rolls will also be available. There will also be a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic refreshments.

Question

What if I have a food allergy or dietary restriction?

Answer

Please make us aware of your food allergy or dietary restriction by using the designated area while completing your RSVP so that we are best able to accommodate you. If you have any concerns, please reach out to Madison.

Question

What time does the reception end?

Answer

Last call at the bar will be made at 9:00 PM. Beginning at 9:15 PM, we will request that all guests make their way outside to prepare for the bride and groom's grand exit, which will occur at 9:30 PM. Following the couple's grand exit, the third-floor event space will be cleaned. Please secure your belongings and make your way out of the space as soon as possible unless you have been asked to assist with clean-up.

Question

I have more questions. Who can I contact?

Answer

Please direct any additional questions to Madison via text or phone call.
