Madison and Skylar met while working in the ICU together at Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center in Medford, OR. She was on day shift and he was on night shift. What started as acquaintances turned into something more while spending time together with a group of ICU nurses outside of work. One month after getting together, Madison left for Portland to travel nurse. She considered moving back after her contract, but two weeks in she called Skylar and told him she wasn’t coming back so he better move to Portland if they wanted to make this work. Which is exactly what he did! After 11 months of long distance, Skylar moved up to Portland into their first apartment together in NW Portland. On their two year anniversary Skylar proposed to Madison at Le Pigeon.
