This is a gorgeous half-day hike in Pemberton. The first photo opportunity is 5 minutes from the carpark. For the rest of the trip, you'll hike up to two turquoise lakes, populated by semi-tame Whiskey Jack birds. Keep an eye open for the glaciers that are on the mountain year-round! Note: day passes are required - you can start reserving one 48 hours before your hike. We recommend taking a screenshot - cell service can be iffy at the trailhead!
Want a hike that gives you gorgeous views without the big effort? This is your trail! Cheakamus Lake Trail is a 7.7km hike out-and-back. Once you reach the lake, you can enjoy your lunch, take a dip, or just relax next to the water! Note: day passes are required - you can start reserving one 48 hours before your hike! Sadly no pups allowed.
This is an easy and enjoyable hike with a fun payoff: a series of train cars in the middle of the lush BC forest. The train cars are covered in graffiti, so make sure your phones and cameras are fully charged to get some great pictures! No day-pass required, and dogs are welcome.
A delicious (and popular!) bakery located in Whistler Village. There's usually a line up, so you'll have plenty of time to decide what you want to order. In our experience, it's harder to figure out what you don't want!
A cozy cafe with amazing muffins, coffees, and other baked goods. Once you've fueled up, there's easy access to the Valley Trail that leads straight into Whistler Village.
A ski-themed cafe with lots of outdoor seating. Their pasta is a guilty pleasure of ours, especially after a long day snowshoeing or hiking around Whistler.
This activity is not for the faint of heart! This adventure company offers tours sprinkled with treetop hikes and zip lining. In fact, Ziptrek boast the longest zipline in all of Canada and the USA! If love isn't making your heart beat faster, then the adrenaline might just do the trick.
