What is the wedding attire?

Answer

The wedding is formal and black-tie optional.

Will the ceremony be indoor or outdoor?

Answer

We recommend bringing a coat as the bride and groom do plan to have the ceremony outdoors unless the weather will not permit it, then it will be moved indoors. Reception will be indoors.

What will be provided at the wedding?

Answer

We will be providing an open bar during cocktail hour as well as during the reception, and there will be passed hors d’oeuvres prior to served dinner. There will be several food stations throughout the hall. All food and drink stations are served from a staff member behind plexi glass wearing a mask. You will not be served at the table, and each table will be notified when they can get their meal. All staff working the event will be required to wear masks.

What health precautions does the venue have in place?

Answer

Your safety is extremely important to Silver Oaks Chateau. The venue is an extremely large indoor/ outdoor venue that will enable us to space the reception tables and ceremony seating out to maintain the recommended social distancing. There are hand sanitizing stations throughout the venue; wall mounted touchless pumps upstairs and downstairs, a touch pump outside the main restrooms downstairs, and a free standing touchless pump as you walk into the Grand Hall. There will also be disposable masks available if you may need one.

What additional health precautions are being put in place?

Answer

When you arrive at the venue, we will be doing temperature checks upon check-in. At that time you will be assigned to a specific row for the ceremony and a corresponding table for dinner. For the Ceremony seating you will only be seated with your family or guests you are comfortable with. There will be a full empty row between each row. Chairs will also be grouped together with spacing between each set of guests in that row. While the tables can hold up to 10 guests, we will only be seating 6 guests to a table and all the tables will be highly spaced apart. We will seat you with just your family or guests you are comfortable with. We kindly ask all guests to wear masks while moving about the venue, getting food, going to the restroom, etc. The Bride and Groom understand you love them dearly and want to be able to attend the wedding, but for the safety of all that are attending they have asked that if you are not feeling well to PLEASE stay home.
