Golden is a very quaint mountain town that has lots of shopping and great restaurants. One of our favorites is Woody's Wood Fired Pizza. If you are in town a few days early or staying a few days later and enjoy skiing, Loveland is the perfect place. It is the closest ski resort to the site of the wedding.
If you are looking to do some shopping or just want to kill a few hours, the Castle Rock Outlets are a great place to go. The outlet mall has many store options and is only minutes away from the wedding site.
If you enjoy museums or have kids any age, this is a great interactive and family friendly museum that you could spend hours at. Topics in the museum range from dinosaurs, animals, and health to space and geology!
Breckenridge is another popular mountain town. If weather permits, the two (2) hour drive from the venue site to Breckenridge is beautiful. It is a great place to go for a day trip if you have a one to spare. There are lots of shops and restaurants in downtown Breckenridge as well as a gondola that takes you to the top of the mountain.

Depending on the weather, Garden of the Gods is a great place to go and sightsee. The park is located in Colorado Springs, only about 50 minutes from the venue. Most of the paths through the park are paved which makes the park very easy to access.
