Like many of the great love stories, it all started with a swipe on Bumble. Madison and Nick matched on Bumble and after a few days of texting agreed to meet for a drink. The clear romance and ambiance, or the proximity to Madison's apartment, made Mellow Mushroom the obvious choice. Nick, after a long day, almost canceled the date and ended this story before it even started. Thankfully, Nick overcame his long workday and met Madison at the Mellow Mushroom bar. After a drink or two the conversation flowed and both parties were interested but the bartender would not stop intervening in their conversation. They agreed to move to another bar and jumped into Nick's car. Nick felt this was overly trusting of this girl but was happy to continue the date in Dunedin. What was supposed to be a quick drink turned into great conversation, laughter and quite a crush on each other. Both Madison and Nick went home that night with the idea that something pretty special had just happened. As things progressed, Madison and Nick went on another date at Bar Fly in Safety Harbor. While sitting at the pier after Madison asked Nick where he saw this going and Nick replied, "I’d ask you to be my girlfriend right now if I knew you would say yes". After that date on the pier Madison and Nick never looked back, which led us here. In October, Nick and Madison while celebrating went to the Heart Sculpture in Dunedin and gave Madison a lock to put on the heart. While clipping on the lock, Nick dropped to one knee and asked, "Would you like to be locked down another way?" From that first date till now their relationship has been full of love, laughs and the occasional pizza date. They cannot wait to celebrate with all their family and friends when they finally do lock it down for life!
