Jay Cribbs was my childhood best friend and cousin who would’ve been in our wedding if possible, but in 2019 he passed but he’s not forgotten. Any candles lit today will be in remembrance of him and other lost loved ones.

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is Sunday best so a nice pair of slacks/jeans and a nice top. Pretty much dress as you’re going to go somewhere nice to eat or take family pictures.

Do I have to buy something from the registry?

Answer

Absolutely not! If it’s not in your budget or you forget it’s okay we’d be happy just seeing you celebrating the big day with us. And if you rather just give us a card or something we’ll have a box at the parties and on the day of the wedding. Also for those getting something off the registry don’t feel obligated to get something expensive off of it if you do we’ll gratefully appreciate it but if you’d rather put towards our honeymoon fund that would be appreciated too. We understand money is tight and stuff is expensive so please just do what feels right and comfortable for you.

How do I contribute to the honeymoon fund?

Answer

We’d appreciate cash for the honeymoon fund and will have a special box just for the honeymoon at the parties and the day of the wedding. If you do wish to get us a gift card please check if it can be used internationally as our honeymoon will be in the Bahamas.

Will there be assigned seating?

Answer

During the ceremony you’ll be seated by the ushers but after the ceremony and when the reception starts you can sit anywhere you like.

Will there be any showers/parties?

Answer

We will be doing a couple showers/parties between our church, family, and friends. We are unsure of dates as of now but will update it and you can check back here for the dates.
